Lundazi

Lundazi is a town located in the Eastern Province of Zambia. Situated approximately 116 miles (187 km) north of Chipata, it lies near the border with Malawi and serves as the administrative seat for the Lundazi District.

The town is characterized by its geographic position perched high above the eastern side of the Luangwa Valley. Historically, Lundazi served as a former colonial headquarters and continues to function as an administrative center, often referred to as a "Boma." It is also located near a quiet border crossing into Malawi.
