Serenje is a town located in the Serenje District of Zambia's Central Province. It is situated just off the Great North Road and the TAZARA Railway, positioned approximately 197 km from Kapiri Mposhi.
The town features a railway station on the TAZARA line. Additionally, the Mulembo Falls are located near the town area.
