Senanga is a city located in the Western Province of Zambia. It serves as the capital of the Senanga District and is situated on the eastern bank of the Zambezi River at the southern end of the Barotse Floodplain.
The town lies along a main road that runs parallel to the river, connecting Livingstone and Sesheke to Mongu. Recent infrastructure developments in the area include the completion of the Kaunga Lyeti Bridge near the junction to Sioma, which facilitates travel from Sesheke and Katima Mulilo. These road projects have improved travel conditions and contributed to economic growth and confidence in the region.
