Witpoort is a residential suburb situated in Midrand within the Gauteng province of South Africa. Geographically, it is located just west of Blue Hills and falls under Region A of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality.
The area is historically significant as the site of the Battle of Witpoort, which took place during the Second Boer War.
