Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe is a landscape park located in Kassel, Germany. Spanning an area of 2.4 square kilometres, it is recognized as the largest hillside park in Europe and the second-largest park on a hill slope globally.
Construction of the "mountain park" began in 1689 under the direction of the Landgraves of Hesse-Kassel and continued for approximately 150 years. The site is currently open to the public and was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013.
The park is notable for its monumental Baroque architecture and its unique collection of fountains and water features. It serves as a significant cultural landmark representing historical landscape design and architectural heritage.
