Mossel Bay

Mossel Bay is a harbour town located in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. Situated on the Garden Route, it serves as an important region for both farming and tourism. The town is positioned approximately 400 kilometres east of Cape Town and 400 kilometres west of Gqeberha.

The geography of Mossel Bay is defined by the Cape St Blaize Peninsula. The older sections of the town are located on the north-facing side of this peninsula, while newer suburbs extend across the landmass and eastward along the sandy shore of the bay. The town has a population of approximately 170,000 people.
