Bredasdorp is a town located in the Southern Overberg region of the Western Cape province in South Africa. It serves as the primary economic and service hub for that specific region.
The town is situated on the northern edge of the Agulhas Plain. Geographically, it is positioned approximately 160 kilometres (100 mi) south-east of Cape Town and about 35 kilometres (22 mi) north of Cape Agulhas, which marks the southernmost tip of the African continent.
