Musina, also known as Messina, is a town located in the northernmost part of South Africa's Limpopo province. It is situated near the border of Zimbabwe at the confluence of the Sand River and the Limpopo River.
The region surrounding Musina is characterized by significant mineral diversity. Various resources are mined in the area, including iron ore, coal, magnetite, graphite, asbestos, diamonds, copper, and semi-precious stones. The town has a population estimated to be between 20,000 and 40,000 residents.
