Hartswater

Hartswater is an agricultural town located in South Africa. It is situated on the N18 national route, approximately 23 km south of Taung and 36 km north of Warrenton.

The town serves as the center of the Vaalharts Irrigation Scheme and officially became a municipality in April 1960. It derives its name from the Harts River, which flows to the west of the settlement.
