Mabopane is a large residential township situated in South Africa. It is located approximately 22 km north-west of Pretoria within the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality in the Gauteng province.
According to the 2011 census, the area had a population of roughly 110,972 residents. The community is predominantly composed of Setswana speakers.
