Mdantsane is an urban township located in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. It is situated approximately 15 km from KuGompo City and 37 km from Qonce.
The township holds a significant size ranking within the region and the country, serving as the second largest township in the Eastern Cape. Nationally, it is recognized as the 17th largest of the Top 20 largest townships in South Africa.
