Bhisho, formerly known as Bisho, is a city located in South Africa. It serves as the capital of the Eastern Cape province and functions as a primary administrative hub for the region.
The town houses several key government entities, including the Office of the Premier and the Provincial Legislature, along with numerous other government departments. Geographically, Bhisho is situated three kilometres from Qonce and 70 kilometres from East London. It is also designated as part of Buffalo City.
