Viljoenskroon

Viljoenskroon is a farming town situated in the Free State province of South Africa. It primarily serves as a center for maize and cattle farming.

The town was established in 1921 on the farm "Mahemskuil" and officially became a municipality in 1925. Its name is derived from J. J. Viljoen, the original owner of the farm, and his horse, Kroon (Crown).
