Thaba 'Nchu, also known as Blesberg, is a town located in the Free State province of South Africa. It is situated approximately 63 km east of Bloemfontein and 17 km east of Botshabelo.
The town was first settled in December 1833 and officially established in 1873. Its population is primarily composed of Tswana and Sotho people. The area saw significant growth following the 1913 Natives' Land Act, which designated the region as a homeland for the Tswana people.
