Hlohlolwane, officially renamed from its former name Clocolan, is a small town located in the Free State Province of South Africa. It was established in 1906 as a settlement in the region.
The town's original name, Hlohlolwane, originates from the Basotho people. While new inhabitants mispronounced the name and referred to the location as Clocolan, the official designation was later restored to its original form.
