Bethlehem

Bethlehem is a city located in the West Bank of Palestine, situated approximately ten kilometres south of Jerusalem. It serves as the capital of the Bethlehem Governorate and had a recorded population of 28,591 as of 2017.

The city's economy is heavily influenced by tourism, particularly during the Christmas season. This period sees a significant influx of Christian pilgrims who visit the Church of the Nativity, a site revered as the birthplace of Jesus.
