Shakaskraal is a town located in the iLembe District Municipality within the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. It is situated approximately 15 kilometres south-west of KwaDukuza and roughly 53 kilometres north-east of Durban.
The local economy of the town is primarily dominated by small businesses and informal traders. Additionally, sugarcane farming serves as a main activity conducted both within the town and in its surrounding areas.
