Paulpietersburg is a small town located in the KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) province of South Africa. Established in 1888, it originally served as part of the Transvaal Republic.
The town derives its name from two historical figures: Paul Kruger, who was the President at the time of the settlement's founding, and Piet Joubert, a recognized Voortrekker hero.
