Izingolweni

Izingolweni, also known as eZinqoleni, is a town located in the Ugu District Municipality within the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. The name of the settlement originates from a Zulu language term that translates to "place with very shallow holes."

The town was established during the 1870s, originally serving as a police and administration post. A notable local landmark is Izingolweni Primary school, which is reported to have been constructed by the local community.
