Hluhluwe

Hluhluwe is a small town located in northern KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It is situated on the banks of the Hluhluwe River, positioned between the iSimangaliso Wetland Park and the Hluhluwe–iMfolozi Park.

The town is located on the elephant coast, a region characterized by its cultural heritage, natural diversity, and national parks. While it remains relatively undeveloped, the area is gaining interest from international travelers. The surrounding landscape has served as a filming location for various local and international productions, including movies such as I Dreamed of Africa and Ghost Son, as well as several documentaries.
