Ballito is an affluent coastal town situated in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. It is located approximately 40 kilometres north of Durban and 24 kilometres south of KwaDukuza. The town falls under the jurisdiction of the iLembe District Municipality and the KwaDukuza Local Municipality.

The area is situated along the North Coast shoreline, a region frequently referred to as the Dolphin Coast due to the common presence of dolphins and whales in the waters. It serves as a notable coastal destination within the province.
