Kahaani is a 2012 Indian Hindi-language vigilante action thriller film. It was co-written, co-produced, and directed by Sujoy Ghosh.
The film stars Vidya Balan as Vidya Bagchi, a pregnant woman who searches for her missing husband in Kolkata during the Durga Puja festival. She is assisted throughout her search by Assistant Sub-Inspector Satyoki "Rana" Sinha and Inspector General A. Khan.
