Choungui is a village situated in the commune of Kani-Kéli on the island of Mayotte. It is geographically positioned in the south-western region of the island, specifically located to the north of Mronabeja and to the east of Kanibe.
As of 2007, the community had a total population of 772 people. Notable local features include a football ground situated in the southern part of the village and the nearby Mont Choungui, which is one of the highest points on the island.
