Dzaoudzi is a commune located in the French overseas department of Mayotte, situated in the Indian Ocean. The commune is composed of the twin towns of Dzaoudzi and Labattoir, which are situated on the small island of Petite-Terre.
Historically, Dzaoudzi served as the capital of Mayotte. However, the seat of government was relocated to Mamoudzou, located on the main island of Grande-Terre (Maore), in 1977.
