Gjilan, also known as Gnjilane, is located in Kosovo and serves as the fourth-largest city in the country. It functions as both a municipality and the administrative center of the Gjilan District.
According to the 2024 census, the municipality has a population of 82,901 residents, with the majority of these inhabitants living within the city itself.
