Vavaʻu is an island group located in the country of Tonga. It consists of one large island and 40 smaller ones, forming part of the Vavaʻu District which encompasses several other individual islands.
The highest point in the region is Mount Talau, which rises 204 meters (669 feet) above sea level. The capital of the group is Neiafu, which is situated at the Port of Refuge.
