Nan'ao, formerly romanized as Namoa, is an island and county located within the prefecture-level city of Shantou in Guangdong Province, China. The region encompasses a land area of 114.74 square kilometres (44.30 mi2) and a significant sea area of 4,600 square kilometres (1,800 mi2).
As of 2020, the county maintained a permanent population of approximately 64,429 residents.
