Falealupo

Falealupo is a village located in Samoa at the western end of Savai'i island. It is situated approximately 20 miles (32 km) from the International Date Line, which was used until December 29, 2011.

The village consists of two primary settlements: Falealupo-Uta and Falealupo-Tai. Falealupo-Uta is located inland near the main island highway, while Falealupo-Tai is situated by the sea. The coastal settlement is reached via a road approximately 9 km long from the main highway, most of which is unsealed. The total population of the village is 545.
