Safotu is a village located on the central north coast of Savai'i island in Samoa. It is situated within the Gagaifomauga district and has a recorded population of 1,270 residents.
The village holds significant historical and administrative importance as it traditionally attained the status of 'Pule,' which refers to customary political authority. Due to this status, Safotu serves as the main center of the Gagaifomauga district.
