Thốt Nốt is the primary urban district of Cần Thơ, a city located in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. It serves as the administrative center for the area, with its district capital situated in Thốt Nốt.
The district covers a total area of 171 km2 and shares borders with Vĩnh Thạnh district to the south and west, An Giang province to the west, and Đồng Tháp province to the north. As of 2007, the population of the district was recorded at 196,610.
