Vĩnh Thuận is a rural district located in the Kiên Giang province within the Mekong River Delta region of Vietnam. The district serves as a geographical area covering approximately 608 square kilometers (235 square miles).
The administrative capital of the district is situated in Vĩnh Thuận. As of 2003, the district recorded a population of 133,539 residents.
