An Biên is a rural district located in the Kiên Giang province within the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. It covers a total area of 466 km² (180 sq mi) and serves as a geographical component of the southern Vietnamese landscape.
The administrative center of the district is situated at Thứ Ba. As of 2003, An Biên had a recorded population of 147,297 residents.
