Ben Tre

Bến Tre is a city located in the Vĩnh Long province within the Mekong Delta region of southern Vietnam. It is situated approximately 85 kilometers southwest of Ho Chi Minh City and covers a total area of 65.75 square kilometers. According to the 2019 census, the city has a population of 124,499.

The city is connected to neighboring provinces via National Highway 60 and the Rạch Miễu Bridge. In 2025, the Vietnamese government issued a resolution to merge the former Bến Tre Province with the rest of Vĩnh Long.
