Qui Nhon is a coastal city located in the Bình Định province of central Vietnam. It serves as the capital of the former Bình Định province and covers a total area of 286 km2 (110 sq mi). As of 2022, the city had a population of 481,110 and is composed of 16 wards and five communes.
Historically, the commercial activities in Qui Nhon were primarily focused on agriculture and fishing. Since the 2010s, however, the region has experienced a significant shift toward service industries and tourism. The city also maintains a substantial manufacturing sector.
