Sơn Trà is an urban district located in Da Nang within the South Central Coast region of Vietnam. The district covers a total area of 60 km2 (23 sq mi) and was home to a population of 112,196 as of 2003.
The geography of the district is defined by its surrounding landmarks, being bounded by the ocean to the north and east, the Hàn River to the west, and the Ngũ Hành Sơn district to the south. A significant portion of the district is occupied by Sơn Trà Mountain.
