Sia is an Australian singer and songwriter who was born and raised in Adelaide. She began her professional career in the mid-1990s as a vocalist for the acid jazz band Crisp before moving into a solo career following the group's disbandment in 1997.
After releasing her debut studio album, OnlySee, in Australia, Sia relocated to London. During this period, she provided vocals for the English duo Zero 7 and subsequently released two more studio albums: Healing Is Difficult in 2001 and Colour the Small One in 2004.
