Thái Hòa is a town located in the Nghệ An Province within the North Central Coast region of Vietnam. It serves as a primary economic, cultural, and social center for the northwestern portion of the province.

The town was officially established in November 2007. Its formation was based on the previous Thái Hòa townlet and seven communes that were formerly part of the Nghĩa Đàn District. At the time of its establishment, the area covered approximately 135 km² (52 sq mi) and had a population of 70,870 inhabitants.
