Thái Bình is a city situated in the Red River Delta region of northern Vietnam. It serves as the capital of Thái Bình Province and is located approximately 110 km from the national capital, Hanoi.
The city covers a total area of 67.7 square kilometers. As of 2019, its population was recorded at 206,037 people.
