Hung Hoa

Hung Hoa is a city located in Vietnam. Historically, the area was known for the Citadel of Hung Hoa (Thành Hưng Hóa), which served as a fort and settlement situated in what is now Phú Thọ Province in northern Vietnam.

The site held significant military importance during the late 19th century. The capture of Hung Hoa by French forces in 1884 was considered a major victory during the Tonkin Campaign.
