Việt Yên is a district-level town located in the Northeast region of Vietnam. It is situated within the province of Bắc Giang.
The town shares geographical borders with several surrounding areas: it is bordered by Bắc Ninh province to the south, Hiệp Hòa district to the west, and Yên Dũng district to the east. To the north, Việt Yên borders Tân Yên district and Bắc Giang City.
