Hà Giang is a city located in Northeast Vietnam on the banks of the Lô River. It covers an area of 135.33 km2 and had a population of 55,559 inhabitants as of the 2019 census.
The city's population is composed of 22 different ethnicities, with 55.7% identifying as Vietnamese (Kinh) or Tày people. The region has been described as "the most beautiful place in all of Vietnam."
