Cao Bang is a province located in the Northeast region of Vietnam. It covers a total area of 6,700.39 km² (2,587.04 mi²) and serves as a border region with international connections.
The province shares internal borders with the Vietnamese provinces of Tuyên Quang, Thái Nguyên, and Lạng Sơn. It also maintains an international border with the Guangxi province in China. As of 2023, the population of Cao Bang was recorded at 547,849 people.
