Maiquetía is a city situated in the Central Region of Venezuela, specifically within the state of La Guaira. It is positioned at an elevation of approximately 19 meters above sea level on a small shelf located between the Caribbean Sea and the mountains behind it.
The city is located roughly 37 kilometers northwest of the Venezuelan capital, Caracas.
