Monte Carmelo is a Brazilian municipality situated in the northwestern region of the state of Minas Gerais. It belongs to the Triângulo Mineiro e Alto Paranaíba mesoregion and falls within the Patrocínio microregion.
The city was established as a municipality in 1840. As of 2020, Monte Carmelo had a population of 47,931 residents living across a total land area of 1,354 km² (523 sq mi).
