Cabudare is a city located in the Lara State of Venezuela. It serves as the capital of the Palavecino Municipality and is situated at an elevation of 400 meters along the Turbio River.
The city is positioned on the Autopista Centro Occidental, which is a major west-central freeway. Due to economic growth in nearby Barquisimeto, Cabudare has developed into a bedroom community where new housing construction has largely replaced former sugar cane fields. While urban development is prominent, a minority of the local population remains engaged in agriculture within the municipality.
