Calabozo, officially known as Villa de Todos los Santos de Calabozo, is a city located in the center-west region of Guárico state in Venezuela. It serves as the capital of the Francisco de Miranda Municipality and was previously the capital of the entire state. As of 2020, the city had a population of 168,605 according to the National Institute of Statistics (INE).
The city is recognized as one of Venezuela's primary producers of rice. It is also notable for hosting the largest irrigation system in the country.
