Ciudad Guayana is a city located in Bolívar State, Venezuela. It stretches for 40 kilometers along the south bank of the Orinoco River at the confluence where it meets its main tributary, the Caroní River.

The city is geographically divided into two predominant halves by the Caroní River, which flows through the area from south to north. The eastern side consists of the old town of San Félix, while the western side contains the newer area of Puerto Ordaz.
