Lechería is a city located in Venezuela that serves as the shire town of the Diego Bautista Urbaneja Municipality. This municipality is situated within the eastern Venezuelan state of Anzoátegui.
According to the 2011 census conducted by the National Institute of Statistics of Venezuela, the municipality has a population of 37,829. The region is named in honor of the independence hero Diego Bautista Urbaneja.
