Gqeberha, formerly known as Port Elizabeth and colloquially referred to as P.E., is a major seaport located in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. The city is the most populous urban center in the Eastern Cape and ranks as the sixth-most populous city in South Africa. It functions as a primary cultural, economic, and financial hub for the region.
