Amir Timur, also known as Tamerlane, was a prominent Turco-Mongol conqueror who served as the first ruler of the Timurid dynasty. Historically recognized as one of the greatest military leaders and tacticians, he remained undefeated in battle, though his reign was also characterized by extreme brutality.
